Congratulations to the six faculty and REPS, whose research proposals were approved under the UPLB Basic Research Program. On 23 October 2019, the good news was delivered to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Dean’s Office that 16 of the approved proposals submitted to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension (OVCRE) were from CAS.
The UPLB Basic Research Program provides financial assistance to submitted proposals in the field of natural sciences and mathematics, social sciences and the humanities. This is also a venue to help students in their research topics with the support of their academic advisers.
