Our faculty and research staff have expertise in investigating the diverse fields in biology such as microbiology, plant and animal biology, physiology, developmental biology,  genetics and molecular biology, taxonomy, ecology, and evolution.  The following are some of our recent research projects.  We work closely with government agencies, local communities, research institutions and other stakeholders to address urgent issues concerning the biological sciences such as environmental and public health, biodiversity conservation and management, food security, and climate change adaptation..
