The goal of the project is to investigate fish assemblage and diversity of Lakes Caliraya and Lumot in Laguna in relation to environmental parameters to provide policy makers, scientific community, and lakes’ surrounding communities the baseline information needed to craft policies and regulations that will make these lakes sustainable. The project has the following specific objectives: (1) assess the fish assemblage and diversity, (2) determine the environmental factors as driving force of distribution of fishes, and (3) develop conservation strategy for the sustainable use and management of the lakes.
